Rapid growth for our pizza franchise

Our status as one of the country’s fastest-growing pizza franchises has attracted a lot of notice. For the second consecutive year, Marco’s Pizza put up the largest growth rates for both sales (17.1%) and units (15.4%), boosting sales at a greater rate than No. 3 ranked Little Caesars, according to the Nation’s Restaurant News annual Top 100 report.

Business Insider featured Marco’s Pizza in a recent listing of five of the fastest-growing restaurant franchises, writing “The pizza industry is hot right now as new tech makes ordering and delivery easier than ever before. This chain, based in Toledo, Ohio, is ready to cash in on the trend.”

Growth in sales and number of units are outpacing older brands in the competitive pizza industry.

The Marco’s Pizza executive team is experienced and has a track record of success in the restaurant industry. For example, CEO Jack Butorac, an industry veteran who has spent more than 40 years growing high-quality local restaurant concepts into thriving national brands.

Recently, Butorac was chosen as a recipient of Nation’s Restaurant News’ prestigious Golden Chain Award, which celebrates restaurant executives for outstanding leadership, strong company performance, career achievements and contributions to the industry and communities served.
