It’s been awhile since I’ve written a review because I’ve been so busy with my small business (Bree Essentials) and have a list to write. I had to write this one! I told my husband he’ll have to figure out dinner for us because I wasn’t cooking and he didn’t want leftover he said order a pizza. We’ve ordered from many places here in Mebane and quality and service has dropped but cost rising. Ordered online and the website was simple to place an order for delivery. I ordered a calzone, grill chicken pizza, plain wings and cinna squares. Total $63.38 with delivery fee plus tip. Order arrived promptly, fresh, correct and OMG DELICIOUS! I met the delivery person at the driveway and she was so friendly and careful with our order. Chilly and snow out here. I love love the pizza. I loved it all except calzone was hubby’s. I ordered delivery on 11/4/23. Pizza was very flavorful, albeit a bit greasy. Same goes for the cheesy bread. I attribute that to the type of cheese being used. Both the pizza and the cheesy bread were very good though. The only complaint I would have, and it’s not really a complaint, but more of a personal preference, is that the greasiness is pretty high (when it soaks through the bottom of the boxes and no box liner on the pizza), and although I like the caramelized edges of the pan baked breads, they do have a life span especially if they are not scrubbed out often or at all. I personally don’t care for all the burnt crispy pieces that collect on the bottom from previous bakes. The edges, yes, but not on the bottom. I also prefer fresh mushrooms as opposed to canned, so I guess that’s another “complaint”. The best part of this experience was the promptness of the order. From order to delivery it was around 25 minutes, and I live on the opposite side of town. The delivery driver was very courteous and friendly as well. I recommend ordering from Marco’s Pizza! This was my first visit and am impressed they could actually give NY pizza shops a run for their money. I ordered a 10 inch with onions, olive and old fashion pepperoni it was DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS the place is clean bathrooms included the staff are very friendly and not pushy but would answer any questions you may have.
