When I walked in, Junior greeted me with a warm welcome. He was friendly and energetic despite the slow day. He also made sure I was satisfied with my pizza before giving it to me. Solid employee and solid establishment.

This was my first time visiting Marco's pizza. Well it took longer than the 10 minute to pick up the order after trying to order online was very complicated and trying to check out was very stressful for me. I had to try several times just to get the discount applied to the order. The crust was overcooked and the pizza was loaded with toppings but I didn't really like the flavor of the Hawaiian pizza.

Before I get to the bad experience I just had Sunday, let me just say that I love the pizza from Marco's and feel it is the best pizza in Dublin, GA (personally). However, my experience Sunday was less than pleasant.
First, the woman that answered the phone didn't even seem like she wanted to be there. When the delivery address was given, she went on to voice her personal opinion about how she couldn't believe they even delivered out here and that it cuts into their delivery time. This should never be said to a paying customer as you are making the customer feel as though they are an inconvenience to you.
Secondly, when the order was taken, she immediately hung up the phone and never got our payment information. We called back to give this to them and were placed on the defensive once again as she said, "normally, people tell me what they are paying with". So we responded by telling her that it is indeed the customers fault. Look lady, you need to stop blaming customers for things that are your fault and own the situation at hand.
Lastly, she then went on to blame the fact that she had been there since that morning. Big deal!!! If you have a job then you should answer the phones with the same smile and enthusiasm at hour 8 that you do at hour 1.
We eventually wrapped up the transaction and got the pizza. Once again it was delicious as always. I just hate the fact that the experience was less than pleasing.
So in that regard, I decided to call Marco's this morning to voice my frustrations with the manager. Come to find out, the woman that handled the whole ordeal on Sunday WAS THE GENERAL MANAGER!!! Are you freaking kidding me?? This so-called GM is in serious need of retraining and could use some classes on business etiquette. As long as that GM is there, I am afraid that I may be forced to go back to other pizza options.
